3rd January 2024
2023 has been an interesting year, the first since that initial lockdown which has felt something like ‘normal’. Much of our time has been taken up with training organisations, but we’ve also been able to explore some different parts of the country, get involved with various projects locally and further afield and develop our plans for the direction of Original Outdoors.
This episode is a brief overview of some of the moments which took place in 2023, delivered in our usual, slightly rambling fashion.
A big thank you to each and every one of our Patrons for your support, this is just the beginning of something much bigger and more exciting than we have ever done before.
Happy New Year, let’s make it a great one.

The Original Outdoors Podcast was our first real move into digital content creation for the outdoor audience. We started it back in 2014, and that original run lasted until early 2016.
The show was rebooted in late 2023, with a co-host Amy Green , and joins our other popular podcasts.
We talk about weird and interesting news stories, dig deeper into current events and cover a wide range of topics from hiking and mountaineering to gear, ecology and even outdoor etiquette.
