In this episode Richard introduces you to Karl, our tame grower of vegetables in Norwich, England. We recorded this back at the beginning of October, as the main harvesting season was reaching it’s end and preparations for winter/next year began. The successes and failures of this past year are discussed, alongside some of the difficulties of growing on an allotment and a small amount of their history in the UK.

Food Resilience Network is a podcast about food, health and living life with more intention. It started up in 2023 as a result of repeated conversations with the people we meet whilst delivering outdoor skills training.
Food Resilience Network is a little bit different to our other podcasts, in each episode we discuss the journey towards finding better, healthier and more reliable food sources – through farming, gardening, and learning more about where food comes from whilst closing the gap between source and plate.
The show is hosted by Richard Prideaux and Amy Green , and joins our other popular podcasts.
