19th June 2021
In this first full episode of Modern Outdoor Survival, Richard talks about attitudes towards survival, preparedness and personal resilience – and maybe why so many people seem to get it wrong.
It all comes down to making decisions – making good decisions in the planning and preparation phase before you head out, making good decisions when you’re out on the ground (or on the water) and even making good decisions when you get back home.
The realistic modern survival mindset is not about waiting for disaster to occur then doing whatever you can to solve it – it is about making the right choices to reduce the risk of that disaster from ever arising.
