Sometimes an item of gear can be made better by a simple bit of paracord. A small sewing task can alleviates an annoyance which in normal situations isn’t close to a problem, but in a survival situation could break you. We talk about a few different things which can be done to modify, or repair gear both at home and in the field.

With over a decade of experience working outside in the UK doing everything from dry stone walling to tree planting and carrying out wildlife surveys. Amy is our resident ecologist and wild food enthusiast, and also works as a consultant for various brands and wildlife organisations. Amy lives in North Wales.
