Wherever you are, it is important to know your location, and oftentimes the direction you need to travel in order to further your journey.
The podcast covers why maps are so useful, and the importance of not only carrying one, but knowing how to use it to navigate and potentially communicate your location to others. We also talk about how to translate a map into the real world in front of you, whether that is with a compass or not.
Richard lists 3 important navigation skills, and then goes on to share information about how to best use GPS devices and more traditional means of navigation.
