Friday Night Film No. 2 – Waterwalker

Bill Mason is somebody that everybody who canoes, wants to canoe or who just loves wilderness waterway travel should know about. A Canadian filmmaker, artist and naturalist he is almost synonymous with the canoe in North America, and his films have been inspiring paddlers for generations.
The National Film Board of Canada have put most of his work online for free, and this blog post explains this film better than I ever could:

The run time of this film is about an hour, so let it buffer then dim the lights, sit back with a beverage of your choice and dive in to a journey with one of the legends of Western Wilderness Skills.

Our Friday Night Video category is a new section on our blog. Every Friday night at around 7:30pm we will share a lengthy video that we believe will appeal to anybody who loves the outdoors as much as we do.
