Autumn Navigation Courses in North Wales

Autumn normally marks the start of the ‘quiet season’ for outdoor companies. The busy summer months have given way to fewer folk in the hills and time to reflect and recover before the everything starting again in the early spring.

It is also a time to train, to learn new skills and rediscover old ones. It should be the same for those who head into the outdoor for pleasure instead of work. Changeable conditions in the mountains are a good reason to improve one of the most important outdoor skills – navigation. Knowing how to locate yourself and plan a safe route in all conditions is possibly the most valuable skill an outdoor adventurer can have. We offer a range of navigation courses that are suited for beginners, improvers and even advanced coaching for groups or individuals. There are also night navigation coaching sessions in the hills of Snowdonia and the Clwydian Range to focus on navigation in poor visibility.
