Introduction to Tracking course

Short introductory tracking courses held in North Wales

£30.00 per person

These introductory courses provide an insight into unlocking the hidden language of tracks and signs that we leave as we pass through a landscape. Footprints, damaged vegetation, disturbed stones – even the bending of a blade of grass.

We teach the techniques of mantracking and subject-tracking to various clients through our partner brand Outdoor Professional – the Introduction to Tracking course provides a taste of what we teach to SAR, emergency service and other clients and is ideal for those who want to try tracking for real or find out a little more on the subject.

Original Outdoors has been teaching tracking to clients of all types for a number of years, developing new techniques and bringing skills from the world of SAR and law enforcement to other areas.

The Introduction to Tracking courses are roughly three hours in length and take place at two different locations in North Wales.

No previous experience is required other than being able to walk over slightly rough terrain, be able to kneel/bend to look at features on the ground. The courses take place in all weathers and outdoor clothing is required.
