Tracking Courses in Wales

1-day introduction tracking course held in North Wales

£50.00 per person

tracking course uk north wales snowdoniaTracking is a skill that cannot be taught in one day – but we can show you the techniques and methods used by professional and experienced trackers across the globe. The morning of the course covers basic human and animal tracking techniques, and the afternoon includes several ‘live’ tracking projects based on real scenarios.

Tracking a human and an animal require different techniques but there are similarities, particularly in the connection between the tracker and the environment, the patience required and the observational skills that can be developed through practice. The course instructors come from mountain rescue and military backgrounds – not only have they spent years learning the skills, they have used the skills and techniques taught on this course on live operations.
